Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026. MarkDriftPro Pte. Ltd. ("MarkDriftPro", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") of Singapore and guidance issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission ("PDPC"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal data when you visit markdriftpro.life, submit our contact form, correspond with us by email, or engage our professional marketing and brand communications services.

Scope and application

This policy applies to personal data processed through our public website, enquiry channels and client engagements operated from our Carpenter Street studio. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages. By using the site or submitting a form, you acknowledge that you have read this policy.

Data controller

MarkDriftPro Pte. Ltd. is the organisation responsible for personal data described here. Our studio address is 41 Carpenter Street, #02-01, Singapore 059919. Public pages list contact details only — no registry numbers are published on this website. Data protection enquiries: [email protected].

Categories of personal data we collect

Contact form data: name, email address, optional company name, enquiry type and message content. You must tick a PDPA consent checkbox before submission; it is not pre-selected.

Correspondence data: email address, message content, attachments and metadata from emails to [email protected] or [email protected].

Technical and security data: IP address, browser user agent, request timestamps and referrers in hosting logs for security monitoring and rate limiting (maximum three form submissions per five minutes per IP address).

Cookie and local storage data: cookie consent preference stored in browser local storage for approximately six months when you interact with our banner.

Client engagement data: additional business contact details, project correspondence and workshop notes when a professional services relationship begins, governed by proposal terms and this policy where applicable.

Purposes of collection and use

We process personal data to respond to enquiries, schedule scope conversations, deliver services under contract, maintain business correspondence, comply with legal obligations and protect site security. We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated direct marketing without separate consent.

Legal basis under the PDPA

We rely on consent (contact form checkbox and cookie banner choices), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, securing systems, maintaining professional records) and contractual necessity where a client engagement follows. You may withdraw consent by contacting [email protected], subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.

Google Maps embed on every page

Each published content page includes a Google Maps iframe showing our Carpenter Street studio — a primary map on contact.php and a compact map on all other content pages. When the embed loads, Google may collect usage data, device identifiers or set third-party cookies according to Google's policies. This functional embed is outside our direct control. We include the map so visitors can locate our studio. See Google's privacy documentation and our cookie policy for further detail.

Disclosure of personal data

We may disclose personal data to service providers assisting with email delivery, hosting or document storage, subject to confidentiality expectations; professional advisers where required for legal compliance; and authorities when required by Singapore law, court order or to protect our legal rights.

International transfers

Enquiry and client data is primarily processed in Singapore. If you submit a form from outside Singapore, you consent to transfer and processing in Singapore for response and service delivery purposes.

Retention

Enquiry records are retained as long as needed to manage correspondence, establish professional relationships, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised. Cookie consent preferences persist in your browser for approximately six months. Security logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to abuse investigation.

Security measures

Forms are submitted over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and client data is limited to authorised studio personnel. We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to a professional services studio, including rate limiting and honeypot fields on public forms.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, withdrawal of consent for processing based on consent, and information about how your data has been used or disclosed where applicable. Submit requests to [email protected] with sufficient detail for identity verification. We respond within a reasonable period as required by law.

Children

Our services and website are directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen without appropriate authority.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on individuals in relation to website enquiries.

Definitions

"Personal data" means data about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access, as defined under the PDPA. "Processing" includes collection, use, disclosure, storage and deletion of personal data.

Access logs and server data

Standard web server logs may record IP address, requested URL, HTTP status codes and timestamps for operational and security purposes. Logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build marketing profiles.

Marketing and communications preferences

We do not add enquiry contacts to bulk marketing lists without separate consent. Follow-up correspondence relates to your enquiry or an active engagement.

Data breach notification

In the event of a data breach likely to result in significant harm or scale requiring notification under applicable law, we will assess the incident promptly and notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by the PDPA.

Complaints and PDPC

If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, contact [email protected] first. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore if you remain dissatisfied after our response.
